Born in Kyoto, Japan, Yuko Kan earned a masters degree in sculpture from Tama Art University, where she began working on woodblock printing. In 2016, she discovered a new fascination with wood sculpting, exploring the craft of both woodblock printing and carving to create her own whimsical world. Her work can be found numerous solo and group shows across Japan.
