Evoking a quiet walk on a crisp winter morning—clouds floating lazily in an azure sky; half-frozen grass crackling under your feet—this season’s palette balances icy blues and whites with warmer, earth-toned glazes like Turmeric, Pesto, and Lemongrass.
Special Technique
While creating this season’s special technique, we dug through decades of archival work (including precious test pieces dating back to the ‘50s) for inspiration. Sierra Sky expands upon past dipped glaze experiments by layering several shades of blue over an Opaque White base, creating the impression of a brilliant winter sky beset by fluffy clouds.
